Catskill Mountain Shakespeare hits the road

for its THIRD Annual Community Tour this spring!

Once again with the support of the prestigious $25,000 grant from Shakespeare in American Communities, a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest, CMS will launch a traveling production of Shakespeare’s iconic play Pericles and travel to local middle schools, high schools, arts collectives and other community venues throughout the Catskill region in April-May 2026.

A performance day that includes a study guide, a Q&A session with the cast, and optional student workshops led by CMS Teaching Artists will also be offered aiming  to entertain, engage, and connect classical language with modern-day social issues.
