The VIVs:
Very Important Volunteers
 

The VIVs are our Very Important Volunteers and CMS could not function without them!

The VIVs are dedicated to the support and promotion of Catskill Mountain Shakespeare. There is no specific criteria to become a VIV, just a passion and excitement for live theater and community outreach!

The VIVs contribute to the success of CMS through:

• Concessions

• Membership

• Special events

• Spreading the word about CMS

Members of The VIVs may be assigned to one of these tasks when volunteering:

• Greeting patrons

• Ushering

• Ticket taking and front of house duties

• Concessions and support

• Handing out programs

• Helping set up for performance parties

• Spreading the word of CMS at farmer’s market booths, expos and other local events

• Assisting with load in and strike (if willing and able!)

The VIVs are entitled to awesome benefits:

• After volunteering for two shows, a VIV receives a special ticket to a performance of their choice for FREE

• A piece of CMS merchandise

• Invitations to special events such as our First Read Through, our Patron Meet and Greet and Rehearsal Mixer, and our VIVs thank you lunch

• The joy and satisfaction of helping establish Catskill Mountain Shakespeare as an arts destination in our region!
